A family testimonial... "This letter is written to the nurses, and the aides ( Carrie, Donna, Kim, Judy, Sylvia, Denise, Holly, Jocelyn), Debbie at the reception desk, Peg, the girls in the activity department, the staff in the rehab department and all the other people that helped my sister, Katie LaBella. All of these people get up everyday and go to work in a profession that is chosen by themselves. These people do their jobs not because of a big pay check. They do a job in both a rewarding and challenging field because they love people. They all get alot of satisfaction helping people and caring for people but most of all because they LOVE people. Their eyes and hearts see people in need of love and compassion and encouragement. They treat people with dignity, respect and patience. Like all jobs, there are good days and difficult days but yet these good people get up every day and go to work to make the world a better place. Sometimes I look back and wonder how they do their jobs so faithfully and dilligently. And my eyes get teary. These people are angels in disguise." On behalf of Mike and Marsha Labella and my sister Katie, who loved all her sisters at the Pines at Utica, thank you and God bless you !
